As you point out in the beginning of your article, the times are changing as more and more people look to the Internet to find solutions for their wants and needs. It was only a few years ago when most businesses would have to consider hiring an “Internet specialist” and hope they understood something about marketing. Most did not! Today, businesses have the opportunity to team with active online marketers with real portfolios of their media on various web venues. It sounds like a perfect solution for many small businesses ….

Years ago our “fingers did the walking…”, now our mouse does the clicking… This is the way business is done. I am not sure where out yellow pages are. I do not use it except as a last resort. We live in a 2.0 world. Out sourcing a social media specialist is a necessity, not an option. A specialist brings in business. The only other option is for the business owner to do the work.
